About 2 o’clock tonight, at once several fire reports in the village of Bolshie Kurguzi were received via 01 service. It turned out that an abandoned building of kindergarten was burning. Voluntary firefighters from the village of Bolshie Klyuchi, which is located 9 km away from Bolshie Kurguzi, arrived to the fire site first. Duty units of the separate post of Raifa monastery and the fire and rescue department No. 53 from Zelenodolsk arrived to their support. They coped with the fire quickly. Its preliminary cause is careless use of fire by unidentified persons.

The representative delegation from the United Arab Emirates came to Zelenodolsk within events on founding two high-speed passenger vessels of the А145Е project at Gorky Zelenodolsk Factory. The guests proceeded to the Muslim prayer house of Zelenodolsk fire and rescue garrison which is located next to the fire and rescue department No. 52 of the 8th squad. The house along with the orthodox chapel opened in the garrison on 2011.

Incidents as of July 17:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 71 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 32, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 1, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.

On June 17, 2017 at 2.09 there was received a message from a witness about that a young man, born in 1999, was drowning on the river Kama on the area of an illegal old beach of the city of Chistopol, who swam far away. The victim was detected by employees of Chistopol department of GIMS at 14.25. He was delivered to the bank where medics provided necessary aid. According to the victim, his leg cramped while he was swimming.

Dear colleagues, thank you for your service, which sometimes takes personal time, health and nerves. Thanks to measures on fire safety provision that you take in settlements, mass gathering of people, on preventing people’s death in our republic, for all this time, we managed to keep the perennial tendency to reduce the number of fires. With the coming real hot summer weather, there were registered incidents on the water, including with tragic end!

From the beginning of the year there are registered on water objects of the Republic of Tatarstan:

- incidents: 39 (similar period of the past year: 82, decreasing by 52%);
- killed: 25 (similar period of the past year: 61, including 6 children, decreasing by 59%);
- saved: 31, including 4 children (similar period of the past year: 44, decreasing by 29%).

The world championship stage in Kazan will pass on July 22-23, and July 21 will be practice day. In order of quality implementation of tasks on safety provision of people on water bodies, there was formed a group of forces and means consisting of units of GIMS Center, the 7th squad of the federal fire service, Kazan branch of Volga search and rescue squad of EMERCOM of Russia, military unit 5561 of the federal military service of the National Guard of Russia, Kazan Linear Department of MIA of Russia on transport, the Ministry of Inner Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan, OSVOD representatives.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1.

Incidents as of July 15:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 3. 1 person died, 1 person was injured.

At once two finals of ‘The best firefighter of departments of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan’ and ‘The best guard chief of department of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan’ republican review contests took place in the sports and training arena of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The best 20 firefighters and 19 guard chiefs from all departments of the federal fire service of the republic came to Kazan. In ‘the best guard chief’ contest, Aydar Gareev, guard chief of FRD-56 OFPS-15 won the first place. Sidail Motygullin, firefighter of FRD-4 OFPS-7 took the first place in ‘the best firefighter’ contest.
