Rescuers of Kazan search and rescue squad met young explorers of professions at their place. The most active children, frequent visitors of ‘KidSpace’ family entertainment center, who reached the ‘Cosmostars’ level, got an opportunity to learn skills of rescuing people from professionals. The duty shift of rescuers met the young guests with full stuff. Valiant EMERCOM employees prepared a whole program so that the children could get acquainted with work days of a rescuer not only theoretically, but also practically.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: residential sector – 1, outhouses – 1.

Incidents as of July 12:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 1.

Federation of Water-Motor Sport of Russia, ‘Vympel’ shipyard (the city of Rybinsk) with the participation of students of the department of ecology and industrial safety of Bauman Moscow State Technical University were among organizers. EMERCOM employees will provide support and help during the whole waterway, when necessary they are ready to give places to stay overnight and to moor cutters.

Forbiddance of navigation of vessels on the river Kazanka will be activated in the capital of Tatarstan during the conducting of Red Bull Air Race international competitions on air acrobatics. The limit will be in process every day from 8.00 AM until 8.00 PM for small vessels. as well as sailing, pleasure, sport ones, including jet skis, canoe, rowing boats on the section of the Kazanka from Lenin dam to the Chuykov and Gavrilov streets crossroads.

The practice lesson took place in one of indoor city pools, in which students of various republican educational institutions of the republic gathered to participate in a master lesson on preparation to children’s safe summer recreation within republican school of counselors. Rescuers of the search and rescue squad of the Department of Civil Defense of the city of Kazan taught the youth, who involve in the organization of children’s summer holiday, the basics of first medical aid provision and necessary actions during saving person from the water.

Projects of laws envisaging changings in the laws ‘On fire service in the Republic of Tatarstan’ and ‘On fire safety’ considered and adopted in the final reading. The bill ‘On voluntary fire service in the Republic of Tatarstan’ was represented by the Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister on civil defense and emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Khabibullin. The deputy chairman of the Committee on Legality, Law and Orde, Rafil Nugumanov acquainted parliamentarians with the committee decision, which are recommended to adopt the bill in the first and third readings.

People gathered near the memorial complex on the bank of the Volga near the village of Syukeevo, Kamskoe Ustye District. Relatives and those who survived came to honor the memory of the deceased on July 10, 2011. The memorial event was attended by the main state inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for small vessels, Yuri Venediktov, Deputy Minister of EMERCOM RT, Chief of the search and rescue service under EMERCOM RT, Ilham Nasibullin, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elmira Zaripova, the Head of Kamskoe Ustye District, Pavel Lokhanov.
