Assistant Chief of the Guard of Fire Department No. 72 of the 15th Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, Kamil Ganiyev, became a kind friend and mentor for children of Naberezhnye Chelny kindergartens and schools. For two years, the Chelny firefighter have visited children and held lessons on fire safety with them.

Meeting of fire and technique commissions with involving employees of the 8th Squad of Federal Fire Service at the largest city-forming enterprises of Zelenodolsk are held twice a year. Traditionally, there are raised technical issues of fire safety and anti-fire protection of enterprises. According to the target programs “Fire Safety for 2014-2016”, 4 mln. rubles are developed for implementation of anti-fire activities at JSC “Pozis” and JSC “Zelenodolsk Factory Named After A.M. Gorky”.

The other day, pupils of junior grades of Kaipy Secondary School of Laishevo Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the separate fire post on protection of the village of Kaipy of Kazan Squad of Federal Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan. The open day for the children was organized within the Year of Fire Service in EMERCOM system.

Incidents as of March 16:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 44 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 10, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 2 cooperation with other services – 15, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including 3 in the residential sector, vehicles – 1. 1 person was injured.

Actual Data on the Ice Thickness on Reservoirs of the Republic as of March 16, 2016

‘Although, the thickness of ice cover is yet big enough – nearly 30 centimeters, but its structure isn’t already homogeneous, it’s friable. And the stream permanently undermines the ice making it thinner’, explains Acting Chief of Zelenodolsk Inspectorial Department of GIMS, Aleksey Deyev.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 13, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, burnt meal – 3 cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 4 in the residential sector, outhouses – 3. 1 person was injured.

Numerous children’s pictures on the theme of safety on the ice decorated Kazan underground stations of “Tukayevskaya”, “Kremlyovskaya” and “Kozya Sloboda”. Colorful informative exhibitions of children’s art were organized for townspeople and capital’s guests by employees of State Inspection on Small Vessels of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to remind both adults and children about safety behavior on thin ice of reservoirs in the spring. Also, GIMS employees gave underground passengers more than a hundred thematic memos.

That was said by Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolai Surzhko during a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of RT on the theme “About Readiness to Implement Activities of Passing Meltwater and Measures on Prevention and Mitigation of Consequences of Possible Emergencies Connected with Deterioration of Floods Situation”.

On March 14, 2016 at 11:03 P.M. there was received a report on fire in a multiple apartment house in Kazan. There was burning the bedroom in a three room apartment on the 7th floor, as well as balconies on the 8th and the 9th floors. At 11:17, the fire was localized.
