Fireman.club project started in the Year of Fire Service in the system of EMERCOM of Russia. Press service of EMERCOM of Tatarstan managed to ask a few questions to the author of the project. The project includes a lot of information sections: daily top news from EMERCOM units and not only, replenishing base of normative documents, fresh methodical plans for lessons, thematic literature, the most interesting articles on a variety of subjects which will be useful to many.

On April 10, 2016 at 6.35 P.M. a local resident reported that the water level in the river Nurminka, the urban settlement of Kukmor was rising. The flooding zone included 5 houses, in three of them people do not live. Task force of Fire and Rescue Department No. 117 of FFS for RT left for the scene at 6:36 P.M. People were evacuated from their homes, an ambulance took them to the place of temporary accommodation “Olimp”, and from there they were moved to the hotel cafe “Ainur”, whose owner offered his help.

Incidents as of April 10:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 80 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 12, dry grass – 2, false alarms – 40, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 6, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, including residential sector – 1, outhouses – 2. 2 people died.

It was reported at 6.15 P.M. on April 10, that in the village of Salmachi of the city of Kazan the river Noksa burst its banks due to the sharp snow melting. Task forces of FKU “CUKS HQ EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan”, FGKU “7th Squad of FFS for the Republic of Tatarstan”, Office of Civil Defense of Executive Committee of Kazan, as well as the forces of duty shifts of Zonal Search and Rescue Unit № 2 of Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan Branch of Volga Regional Search and Rescue Squad of EMERCOM of Russia (with boats) arrived to the scene. Upon the arrival it was found that there was flooding of the territory of 38 outhouse areas of private houses in the village of Salmachi.

On April 8 at 2:02 P.M. there was received a report from the Head of Yambulat village about the loss of a 5 year-old boy. As it turned out, the boy (born in 2011) walked together with his elder brothers in 100 meters from his house near the river Sulitsa. There was laying a log across the river, the children decided to go to the other side, the elder boys were able to pass

According to meteorologists, on April 9 the air temperature will be from 1 degree below zero tp 4 degrees above zero at night, and 10-15 degrees above zero in the afternoon. On April 10, from 1 to 6 degrees at night and from 12 to 17 degrees in the afternoon. Thus, the sudden increasing of daily average temperature accompanied by intensive snow melting leads to flooding in rivers. Consequently, risks of water release to the plain and flooding of low-lying coastal areas of the territories of the republic are increasing.

The Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan emphatically recommends not to come out on the spring ice! This weekend, air temperature increasing up to 16 degrees is expected. Republican rivers are revealed from ice. Attention to all who likes to fish on the ice and people who use ice passages: passing over on the friable ice is fatally dangerous! Just last week, 3 accidents are registered on waters of the Republic of Tatarstan, as a result of which 1 person died, 4 people were rescued.

The man fell through the ice on the river Kazanka near Gavrilova St. The accident was reported to the single rescue service by witnesses, who were on the shore. Fire team of fire and rescue garrison No. 48 OFPS-7 for RT arrived in 3 minutes to the scene.
