The Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan emphatically recommends not to come out on the spring ice! This weekend, air temperature increasing up to 16 degrees is expected. Republican rivers are revealed from ice. Attention to all who likes to fish on the ice and people who use ice passages: passing over on the friable ice is fatally dangerous! Just last week, 3 accidents are registered on waters of the Republic of Tatarstan, as a result of which 1 person died, 4 people were rescued.

The man fell through the ice on the river Kazanka near Gavrilova St. The accident was reported to the single rescue service by witnesses, who were on the shore. Fire team of fire and rescue garrison No. 48 OFPS-7 for RT arrived in 3 minutes to the scene.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 43 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, burnt meal – 0 cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including residential sector – 1. 1 person was injured.

Within activities organized to the Year of Fire Service, workers of the separate post on the protection of the village of Leskhoz of Sabinsky Squad of Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan organized and excursion for students of Leskhoz Secondary School to the Museum of Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 23, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 0 cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including residential sector – 1, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 1.

On April 4, when driving on a closed ice passage over the river Vyatka a UAZ car fell through the ice in the village of Gonba of Malmyzh District of Kirov Oblast. By the order of Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of RT, Chief of SAR of RT, Ilham Nasibullin, a divers team (4 people on 2 cars) was directed for an operation on pulling out the pickup truck and people who probably were in it. One dead body was found in the vehicle.

A peculiar “force” landed on reservoirs of Zelenodolsk District, last weekend. Specially created preventive teams left for places of gathering of fishermen at once in eight points (the city of Zelenodolsk, villages of Vasilyevo, Oktyabrsky, Nizhnie Vyazovye, Sviyazhsk).

On April 2, an unscheduled meeting of the oldest social organization of Russia, All-Russian Voluntary Firefighting Association, took place in Zvenigorod in Moscow Region. The agenda involved issues of the development of voluntary action in our country, expansion on number of responding departments, social support of volunteers, technical provision at equipment.

The other day, youth competitions on one of the most “non-childish” kind of sports took place in a sports center in Almetyevsk. The championship of the second squad of federal fire service on applied fire sports gathered representatives of 12 teams from all of South-East of the republic.
