Another stage of All-Russian action of EMERCOM of Russia “Learn to Swim” transformed today into a grand children's holiday which took place on Nizhnee Zarechye beach in Kazan. Participants of “Little Princesses of Tatarstan” social organization and “Mrs. Planet 2016” Rada Kuzmina joined to the cooperative action with the participation of GIMS inspectors of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, EMERCOM and OSVOD rescuers, as well as swimming trainers of Specialized Children’s Sports School of Olympic reserve and “Kazanorgsintez” pool.
On July 18, 2016 at 8.49 A.M., there was received report about that an elk stuck in a sludge lagoon on the territory of purification plants near the village of Nizhnee Afonasovo in Nizhnekamsk District. At 9.00 A.M., a hunting expert for Nizhnekamsk Municipal District left for the scene. Rescuers of ZPSO No. 6 left for the scene at 9.15 A.M.
Incidents as of July 18:
Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 57 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 23, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, burnt meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, residential sector – 2, outhouses – 4, garden houses – 2.
During July 19, the following activities were held:
- works on walls reinforcement are held;
- with the cumulative total, 58 windows have been repaired (90% completed);
- works on electricity supply recovery in the left wing of the second entrance are held;
On July 16, 2016 at 1.01 P.M. there was received report about a drowned 10-years-old girl. The distance from fire and rescue department No. 111 and zonal search and rescue squad No. 6 to the scene is 25 km. The girl and her brother tried to swim over a pond to the opposite bank. She got exhausted and began sinking. Brother had no forces to help his sister. At 2.45 P.M., ZPSO No. 1 rescuers took out the girl’s body.
Deputy Chief of the Headquarters – Chief of Supervisory Affairs and Preventive Works Office, Colonel of inner service, Sergey Sergeev, addressed with congratulations to veterans and employees of the department. 89 years ago, RSFSR authorities approved the Decree on State Fire Supervision.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 13 fires, residential sector – 6, outhouses – 4, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.
During July 18, the following activities were held:
- works on the evaluation of the building for damage of bearing structures proceeded;
- works on strengthening bearing structures of the ceiling between the basement and the ground floor continue;
- with the cumulative total, 52 windows have been repaired (85% completed);
