Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, residential sector – 5.

At 9.14 A.M. on August 4, 2016, there was received a report about that two men, who did repairs, suffocated in a sewage pit in the city of Almetyevsk. Both of the workers born in 1990 and 1984 got down the pit without protection means, fell down into the wastewater and drowned. The pit with depth of 8 meters was flooded about meters. At 11.00 A.M., the bodies were taken out.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 16, false alarms – 54, short circuit of wiring without burning – 6, burnt meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, residential sector – 2, outhouses – 2, stubble – 2, dry grass – 1. 3 people were injured , 1 person was saved.

Today, children from the profile shift “Aurora – Young Commando” of the “Mechta” camp visited inspectors of Center of GIMS and rescuers of Kazan Search and Rescue squad. Children were firstly welcomed by rescue dogs. They demonstrated the skills of obedience and dexterity on the ground and the water, searching and rescuing a conditional drowning person. Inspectors of the Center showed two ways of rescuing on the water: with the help of a lifebuoy and a throw bag.

Resting near the water demands particular caution and attention. The main causes of death on the water is swimming in drunk condition and swimming in unequipped places, as well as leaving children near the water unattended. It is extremely dangerous to enter or dive into the water after a long stay under the sun. Avoid swimming alone. Do not swim far, because you may not calculate your forces.
