Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 65 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 23, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, burnt meal – 0, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, residential sector – 3, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 1.

Acting Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan (on protection, monitoring and prevention against emergencies), Colonel Ildar Gibadullin sounded conclusions of the All-Russian civil defense drill for republican media representatives. Also, he reported about other evens, which were planned and held within the month of civil defense in the Republic of Tatarstan.

From October 1 to 7, workers of the separate post on the protection of the village of Yatmas Dusay of Saba, on the protection of the village of Biklyan of Naberezhnye Chelny, on the protection of the village of Myud and Yerykly of Chistopol squads held explanatory talks with people. During such talks, citizens are informed about basic measures of fire safety at home and get memos on fire safety measures.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 53 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 24, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, residential sector – 2, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 2. 2 people were rescued, 2 people were injured.

The drill on evacuation from high-rise buildings during a fire was attended by more than 300 freshmen of KFU, who moved into the fourth building of Universiade Village. So, students marked the month of civil defense, which started on October 4 in all regions of Russia. They were shown, how to extinguish flame with the help of a fire extinguisher, and, who wanted, had an opportunity to extinguish real fire.

Pupils of primary grades were demonstrated a puppet show about necessity of keeping fire safety rules in the comprehensive school No. 117 of Aviastroitelny District of the city of Kazan. The show was organized by employees of supervisory affairs and preventive work of Aviastroitelny District together with the “Leto” art studio actors. This is the tenth puppet show on fire prevention theme in our republic, which is held in comprehensive schools by the studio.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, residential sector – 3.

In the honor of the Day of Elder Persons and within the Year of Fire Service, the leadership of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Board of Veterans honors its oldest employees. Veteran of fire service, Boris Fomichev, who is 70 this year, deserved special attention.

On October 6, special tactics drill, which was planned within All-Russian drill on civil defense, with forces of permanent readiness and rescue team of radioactive and chemical protection No. 2 at an object of JSC “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”. According to the drill’s idea, as a result a chlorine vessel depressurizing, there was an emission of 2 tons of poisonous substance to the natural environment.
