It is five years since voluntary students of fire brigade has been mounting guard in the Universiade Village. Volunteers have got not only their own uniform, studies, but also fire and rescue car on the “Niva” platform and a buggy type landrover. In the honor of the fifth anniversary since its foundation the most initiative volunteers will be awarded with thank you letters and beautiful t-shirts with voluntary fire brigade symbols for conscientious work on fire safety provision of the Universiade Village in solemn atmosphere.

Incidents as of November 21:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 56 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 9, false alarms – 21, stubble residues – 1, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires, including residential sector – 7, various types of property – 1, garden houses – 1, vehicles – 1.

At 5.52 P.M. on November 21, 2016, there was received report about separating of an ice block with 10 fishermen on the lower pool of Nizhnekamsk HPP, the river Kama, the city of Naberezhnye Chelny at the distance of 300 meters from the bank. Multiple cracks and scours did not allow them to return to the bank. All emergency services were directed to the scene: rescuers on Chivus-6 hovercraft, inspectors of GIMS and fishing control, police employees and ambulance crew. 3 people were saved, the rest of 7 people rescued themselves.

Another talk with schoolchildren was held in November this year by the chief of the separate post on the protection of the village of MYuD of Chistopol squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sungatullin F. H. He told the students of Staroe Mokshino secondary school of Aksubayevo Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan about ban of being on the waters during freezing-over and rules of safe behavior on the ice in winter.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 17 fires, including residential sector – 5, outhouses – 11.

The ninth traditional republican tournament on applied fire sports in the memory of Nikolai Lobov finished with the winning of boy and girls team from Nizhnekamsk. The got the cup from the hands of the Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of inner service, Tahir Karimullin, on the winners’ pedestal during the closing ceremony.

The solemn opening ceremony of traditional republican tournament on applied fire sport among boys and girls in the honor of Nikolai Lobov was held in the sports center of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, except Tatarstanian teams, there were teams from Ulyanovsk Oblast, the Republics of Chuvashia and Mari-El. The contest was attended by 9 teams, including 6 Tatarstanian.
