On February 28 of this year, speech alarm systems will be launched on the whole territory of Tatarstan. The first signal will sound from 10.00 A.M. in all municipal districts. At 11.30 A.M. “IDIS” speech systems will turn on in Kazan and Verkhny Uslon District. On the same day, ПТV-Trion alarm system on mobile electric vehicle launching was planned in Kazan.

Before the Homeland’s Defender Day and within the Year of Fire Service in EMERCOM of Russia, “Formation and Song Review”, that has already become a tradition, passed in the school No. 89, Novo-Savinovsky District, the city of Kazan. Firefighter-cadets from the sixth to the ninth grades competed in skills of marching, regrouping in columns, marching with singing, and also the strict jury valued the participants’ outfit. EMERCOM veterans were among honorary guests.

The Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that the traffic for commercial vehicles on the road M-5 “Ural” from 1,300 to 1,323 km (the Republic of Bashkortostan) will be limited from 11.00 A.M until 4.00 P.M. on February 22, 2017 in connection with weather phenomena.

On February 21, 2017 at 7.48 P.M. there was received report about fire in a house in the city of Chistopol, the Republic of Tatarstan. As a result of the fire, the hostess born in 1985 and children born in 2012 and 2013 died. According to preliminary version the fire occurred because of a short circuit.

The joint day of fire safety was held in the kindergarten No. 55 “Kilechek”. Before the Homeland’s Defender Day, children and their teachers prepared a real holiday with musical performances, sport competitions and intellectual contest on fire subject for Zelenodolsk firefighters. All competitions and tasks were judged by the competent jury of employees of the 8th squad of federal fire service.
