Incidents as of February 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 41 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 11, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires, including resident sector – 4, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1.

The Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that the traffic for commercial vehicles on the road M-5 “Ural” from 1,300 to 1,323 km (the Republic of Bashkortostan) will be limited from 11.00 A.M until 4.00 P.M. on February 22, 2017 in connection with weather phenomena.

On February 21, 2017 at 7.48 P.M. there was received report about fire in a house in the city of Chistopol, the Republic of Tatarstan. As a result of the fire, the hostess born in 1985 and children born in 2012 and 2013 died. According to preliminary version the fire occurred because of a short circuit.

The joint day of fire safety was held in the kindergarten No. 55 “Kilechek”. Before the Homeland’s Defender Day, children and their teachers prepared a real holiday with musical performances, sport competitions and intellectual contest on fire subject for Zelenodolsk firefighters. All competitions and tasks were judged by the competent jury of employees of the 8th squad of federal fire service.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires, including resident sector – 4, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 1. 4 people died.

Today, a republican conference of “Safe City” hardware and software complex took place within XXI “Safety. Communication. Internet” Forum for large industrial enterprises, including oil, gas and chemical complex, small and medium business under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Stepuschenko. During the conference, there was a share of opinions on the most actual issues connected with the creation and use of the complex.

Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires, including resident sector – 1, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 1.

Supervisory affairs and preventive work department for Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Office of Supervision and Preventive Work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan together with Nizhnekamsk district and city department of voluntary fire service and the Center of fire propaganda and public relations announced and held the 1st stage of All-Russian Competition of Children’s and Youth Arts on Fire Safety “Neopalimaya Kupina” among children of preschool and school age of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District. Total of 438 works arrived to the competition. 76 educational facilities participated.
