Today, first-graders of Kazan school No. 55 managed to touch the world of brave people who risk their life and health in a fight with the fire element every day. The Deputy Chief of the fire and rescue department No. 3, Captain of inner service Maksim Demagin leaded the children across the building, showed the study class, communication room. They saw a fire truck’s equipment and other fire technique, how and with what a firefighter is armed.

On April 27, 2017, from 2.00 PM until 4.00 PM, interdepartmental complex drill was planned to be held in ‘Riviera’ hotel complex and the adjoining territory on the theme ‘Responding of management bodies and forces of functional and territorial subsystems of single state system of emergency situations prevention and liquidation on localization and minimization of a manmade emergency situation consequences at ‘Riviera’ hotel complex’. Namely, fire alert due to short circuit in the hotel basement will be worked up. The total team of RSChS will be 80 people and 19 pieces of technique, including 50 people and 14 pieces of technique from EMERCOM.

The forest area of the village of Derbyshki and the lake Komsomolskoe again became the place for Kazan city stage of ‘Young Rescuer’ competitions. In the honor of the Civil Defense Year in EMERCOM of Russia system, organizers of extremal school competitions added stages on knowledge and quickness of putting on radiation, chemical and biological protection suits and gas masks. The most of participants are students of profile cadet corpses, schools, classes, circles and sections of ‘Young Rescuer’. Teams are composed of eight schoolchildren from 14 to 17.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 23. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires, including residential sector – 1, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1. 1 person died.

Special tactic drill on forest fire extinguishing and emergency situation results elimination passed on the territory of Zelenodolsk Municipal District, today. The drill was attended by forestry directors, leaders – foresters, republican EMERCOM employees. Total of four situations of forest fire development were worked up. The drill involved 24 pieces of main and special technique and 62 people of the staff of fire service, forestry and other services.

Including garbage extinguishing – 11, false alarms – 26, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires, including residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, various types of property – 1. 1 person died.

Incidents as of April 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 60 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 24, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 14, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including residential sector – 3, outhouses – 3, construction van – 1. 1 person died. 1 person was injured. 6 people saved.

Today, during the final third stage of All-Russian staff drill, forces and means of RSChS of the Republic of Tatarstan worked up alerts on liquidation of forest fires result in Chistopol and Zelenodolsk Municipal Districts. The practice events of the third stage involved total 563 people and 124 pieces of technique in total, including 223 people and 40 pieces of technique from EMERCOM of Russia.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including residential sector – 4. 4 people died. 1 person was injured.

The event was held by the Minister of Russian Federation for civil defense, emergency situations and natural phenomena results liquidation, Vladimir Puchkov. The event was attended by the Minister of RF for issues of the Open Government, Mikhail Abyzov, representatives of the Government Office of RF, ‘Forum’ Analytical Center, political parties, authorized by the President of RF for protection of entrepreneurs rights, leaders of federal bodies of the executive branch, as well as bodies of procuracy and representatives of public organizations. Participants of the event publicly discussed the results of supervisory work of EMERCOM of Russia taking in account the introduction of risk-oriented approach.
