Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 6, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 5, outhouses – 2. 4 persons died, 1 person was injured, 1 person was rescued.

This year fire service department of the Republic of Tatarstan made 1,754 departures to fires, burnings and traffic accidents, in which 190 people were rescued and material values for the amount of 130 million rubles. There was held significant work on renewing fire technique, strengthening material and technical basis of fire service. From October 1, 2017, salaries of workers of the fire service increased by 4.9 %. In the part of fire prevention activities, fire service workers visited more than 150 thousand private house yards.

This was told journalists by the Main State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for fire supervision, Sergey Sergeev, during the briefing which took place in the republican House of Government. The briefing’s theme was fire safety provision during New Year celebrations. The staff of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan will switch to the strengthened option of duty.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 12, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 15, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 12 fires: private houses – 5, bathhouses – 2, outhouses – 1, administrative buildings – 1, various objects – 3. 1 person died, 2 persons were injured, 2 persons were rescued.

Rescuers of Kazan search and rescue squad received students of the 2nd grade of the secondary school No. 141 of Soviet District of the city of Kazan. Children were welcomed by the Deputy Chief of the squad, Vadim Glushkov. They watched the technique, and communicated with a rescue dog.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires: private houses – 2, bathhouses – 5, outhouses – 2, various objects – 1. 2 people died, 1 person was injured.

In the midst of the subscription campaign in the Republic of Tatarstan there is held ‘Give a Subscription’ action. Anyone who wishes to subscribe to various republican editions for children of orphanages, schoolchildren, families with many children. The action which is held by the ‘Tatmedia’ JSC is participated by both republic’s citizens, and various departments. The Ministry’s leadership actively supported the Tatmedia’s initiative and subscribed for several subordinate organizations.

The summing up the work of civil defense and the territorial subsystem of the comprehensive state system of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2017 was attended by acting chief of the Central Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia, Major-General of Inner Service, Valery Sinkov, and the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksey Pesoshin. Before the celebration of the Rescuer’s Day of the Russian Federation, battle departments of the best headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia got 20 pieces of main and auxiliary fire and rescue technique.

The Deputy Main State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for fire supervision, Maxim Truschin, told to journalists of republican and city media about fire safety condition of objects of holding New Year holiday events and rules of using pyrotechnic items during the briefing which took place in the ‘Tatar-Inform’ informational agency.
