Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 42 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 10, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: apartment buildings – 2, bathhouses – 2, private houses – 2. 2 persons were injured, 2 persons were rescued.

Incidents as of December 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 16, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires.

Solemn events dedicated to the Rescuer’s Day of Russia and 20th anniversary of creating cadet classes on the profiles of firefighter and rescuer, passed in the assembly hall of Kazan school No. 89. Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of Inner Service, Rafail Motygullin, the Main Firefighter of the city of Kazan, Chief of the 7th squad of the federal fire service for RT, Oleg Mamakov, his Deputy, Renat Safin, the Chairman of the Board of Veterans of the Headquarters and EMERCOM of RT, Peter Ivanov, and employees of the Headquarters and Kazan squad, who graduated the school in the past, came to congratulate the young generation with their significant event.

Chiefs of separate post of Kazan squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan hold open days, excursions in their departments for schoolchildren of secondary schools and preschool children, as well as thematic lessons in schools and kindergartens, which are located on the area of separate posts departure. So, the Chief of the separate post of the village of Novy Kiner, H. Akhmetov, held a lesson for students of junior and senior classes of Novy Kiner secondary school.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 39 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 3. 3 persons died. 2 person were injured.

As for the period between December 14 and 21, there were 69 fires in the republic. 15 people died in them, including one child and 10 people were injured. Main causes of fires were incautious usage of fire and violation of electric equipment installation and usage rules. Therefore, the Department of Supervisory and Preventive Work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan once again reminds republic’s citizens about keeping fire safety rules at home.

Workers of the separate post ‘Raifa’ of Kazan squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan held preventive raid through households in the village of Beloe-Bezvodnoe. Families with many children and lonely old citizens are under special attention of firefighters. Also, the workers visited children of children’s housing of Raifa Bogoroditsky Men Monastery. The firefighters hold lesson and talks on fire safety and invite the children to their separate post and acquaint them with the profession of firefighter.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 52 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 11 fires: private houses – 2, apartment buildings – 4, garages – 2, garden houses – 1, vehicles – 2. 2 persons died.

From December 25, 2017 until January 10, 2018 there will be introduced special anti-fire mode on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. A scheduled session of the Commission on Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan passed under the chairmanship of the first deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nigmatullin. There was discussed the issue ‘on measures on providing comprehensive safety to population and stable operation of life support system during New Year and Christmas celebrations’.

Today was the first time when children of social orphanages from six districts of the republic visited employees of the Educational Center of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan. The children were led through classrooms, common room and the room of psychologic relief. The firefighters demonstrated their professional skill and showed modern fire technique of the fire truck.
