All winners and prize-winners were awarded with medals, diplomas and memorable gifts. Deserved awards to the athletes were presented by the leadership of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of public organizations and veterans of sport.

The large-scale drill of RSChS services were attended by over 500 personnel from various ministries and departments and 50 pieces of equipment. Emergency services of the republic practiced actions on localization and minimization of the impact of all possible emergency situations and incidents at the 'Kazan-Arena' stadium. Total of 36 objects involve at the World Championship. Another 77 places of residence of the participants and guests of the World Championship.

Incidents as of February 14:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 48 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: saunas – 1, outhouses – 1, private houses – 1, apartment buildings – 2.

The opening ceremony of the All-Russian competitions for the Cup of the Minister of EMERCOM of Russia and the Cup of Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan was comparable with its colourful presentation, witnessed by more than 450 athletes and guests from 35 teams of subjects of the Russian Federation and special departments of EMERCOM of Russia. After the ceremony of raising the national flag of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan there was the premiere of the song 'Hymn to the applied fire sports'. The author of the music and words of the new anthem became the engineer of the department of fire prevention of the 2nd squad of the federal fire service for RT, Yuliya Makarova.

On the eve of the opening ceremony of the All-Russian competitions on fire and rescue sport, there was held the jury and the draw of the competition in the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. On the panel of judges representatives of the teams discussed the plan of holding the competitions, focused on the issues of doping control among athletes. All the elite of applied fire sport, members of the Russian national team who represent our country in international competitions and candidates to the main team of the country gathers in Kazan. 

GPN employees pay careful attention to objects with mass stay of people. So, employees of a department of supervision and prevention activities for Vakhitovsky District of Kazan 'Central' in the Republican Clinical Psychiatric Hospital of Bekhterev conducted a fire drill. The inspectors pay special attention to fire safety in medical facilities, because of the large number patients residing in its territory and staff increases the risk of negative impacts from fire.

Within the Year of culture of safety in the system of EMERCOM of Russia employees of supervisory bodies carry out preventive lessons in educational institutions. Another such lesson was conducted with students of Zainsk school No. 6, in which there was explained fire safety measures. After the lesson there was held training evacuation from the building in case of fire.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 3, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1.

As experience shows, the greatest number of fires occur at night when people are asleep and not able to detect fire and take measures to eliminate it. Therefore, the use of autonomous detectors, so-called sensors, is one of the effective ways of protection. Last year in 6 cases, the signal helped to save 18 lives. Including 9 children's rescue. The main causes of fires are old electrical network, childish prank or careless handling of fire while smoking.

Preventive activities conducted by employees of the state fire supervision were dedicated to the Year of Safety Culture in the system of EMERCOM of Russia. One of the methods of training citizens is to hold consultations, instructional lessons, meetings with the population and speeches at gatherings of citizens.
