The championship of Russia on applied fire sports for the Cup of the Central Council of All-Russian Voluntary Fire association finished with the victory of the national youth team of the Republic of Tatarstan. The struggle for the main prize was leaded by representatives of 14 strongest teams of the Russian Federation. The competition passed in three age categories.

While the passing Championship of Russia for the Cup of the Central Council of of VDPO in Kazan, the Chairman of the Central Council of All-Russian Voluntary Fire Association, Vladimir Kudryavtsev, answered questions of a correspondent.

Incidents as of February 18:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 32 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 11, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires: residential sector – 3, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, saunas – 4, other buildings – 1. 1 person was injured. 1 person was rescued.

Traditionally the honorary guests of the competition were presented Tatar national dish 'chak-chak' and souvenirs. The parade was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of Internal Service, Tahir Karimullin. Today young men and women will determine the strongest in the high-speed climbing with a hook ladder. Tomorrow, teams will start the combat on overcoming 100-meter obstacle course.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 18. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: private houses – 1, garden houses – 1, garages – 1, saunas – 2, other buildings – 2.

Today in the sports arena of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan there was held the closing ceremony of the All-Russian competitions for the Cup of the Minister of EMERCOM of Russia, All-Russian competitions for the Cup of Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and the championship of special departments of EMERCOM of Russia on applied fire sports, and also rewarding of winners and prize-winners.

The Director of the Executive Committee of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, Andrey Kalinin, announced main tasks of the Russian team at the upcoming World Championships among adult athletes and youth, and said, why applied athletes regularly pass a drug test before responsible starts.

The Director of the Central Sports Club of EMERCOM of Russia, Igor Basalay announced his assessment of the organization of the largest in the history All-Russian competitions on applied fire sports in the closed premises for the Cup of the Minister of EMERCOM of Russia and Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that there was a big sport event in Kazan in those days, and also said that the provisions of a number of competitions on applied fire sport are expected to change.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 38 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: residential sector – 1, garden houses – 1, construction van – 1.

In a tense struggle in such discipline as the climbing up with a hook ladder into the window of the training tower, where seconds associated with agility and speed of an athlete, the strongest was a Tatarstanian, Roman Wagner. The winning time of the Tatarstan athlete amounted to 13.17 seconds. The second place in this discipline was taken by also a Tatarstanian, Dmitry Alekseev.
