Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 39 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 11, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires: apartment buildings – 2, saunas – 2, other buildings – 3, private houses – 1, outhouses – 1, garages – 1.

Incidents as of February 23:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 26 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 9, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 2, garden houses – 2, saunas – 2, other buildings – 1.

Incidents as of February 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 37 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: saunas – 2, other buildings – 1.

Within the Year of Safety Culture there were held competitions on applied fire sport among boys and girls of the city schools in Almetyevsk. The 2nd squad of the federal fire service for RT (contractual) together with Almetyevsk Department of VDPO carried out general management of the organization and conducting of competitions. The main purpose of this event is not only children's involvement in fire-applied sports, but also teaching them the skills of correct behavior in case of fire. The competitions were attended by teams of young firefighters from 14 schools of Almetyevsk.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 36 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 7, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: private houses – 1, garden houses – 1, outhouses – 1, apartment houses – 1.

On February 21 there was held testing fire-tactical drill on the territory of TAIF–NK (Gasoline Plant). The drill involved 8 fire and rescue departments of the first squad of the Federal Fire Service for Republic of Tatarstan, 12 fire trucks and 45 people.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 11, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 1, saunas – 1, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, others – 1.

Employees of the Association of Rescuing on Waters of the Republic and Kazan together with the Department of Safety of People on Water Objects of EMERCOM of Russia for RT organized today a training session for youth within the Year of Safety Culture dedicated to water objects of Tatarstan. The main audience was the students of Kazan branch of the Volga University of Water Transport, which in the future, because of their profession, will need skills of rescuing on the water and organizing safety on water bodies. In addition to lectures, OSVOD employees and EMERCOM specialists showed the younger generation practical workshops on rescuing on the water.

Within the Year of Culture of Safety in the system of EMERCOM of Russia there was held an interagency meeting with representatives of trade facilities with the participation of representatives of the department of supervisory activities and preventive work, municipal control, Rospotrebnadzor, departments of commerce and architecture in the Executive Committee of the Yelabuga Municipal District.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 2 fires: residential sector – 1, saunas – 1. 1 person died.
