The meeting of the Commission on Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of RT was chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexei Pesoshin. The work of the Commission was also attended by: the Head of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant-General of internal service Rafis Khabibullin, Minister of Agriculture and Food of RT, Marat Akhmetov, Minister of Forestry of RT, Ravil Kuzyurov, heads of other ministries and agencies. The main report on readiness for summer fire-risk season was presented by the Chief State Inspector on fire supervision of RT, the Deputy Head of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of internal service, Sergey Sergeyev.

A solemn meeting dedicated to the 369 anniversary of the fire service of the Russian Federation and the 32 anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP was held on April 26 in the assembly hall of the 15th squad of Federal Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan in N. Chelny. Five employees were awarded with the departmental awards of EMERCOM of Russia.

Incidents as of April 26:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 49 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 5. 1 person was injured.

This was reported today to journalists of Deputy Head of the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work of the General Directorate of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, colonel of internal service, Maxim Truschin, during a press conference, which was held in the 'Tatar-Inform' information agency.

By the 35 anniversary of the largest in the USSR technogenic catastrophe, the memorial complex of Tatarstan liquidators of the Chernobyl NPP will be transposed to Victory Park, and the Book of Memory will undergo the second edition, supplemented by the final list of Tatarstanians, who participated in saving significant territory of the USSR from the consequences of radiation contamination.

Volunteers of the village of Chernyshevka, Sergei Petrov and Anatoly Parfenov deserved such awards of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan for the rescuing an elderly resident of the village from the smoked apartment during a fire that occurred on January 25, 2018. In 2017, the voluntary fire service units of Vysokaya Gora fire and rescue garrison were involved in extinguishing fires and eliminating the consequences of incidents 25 times, extinguished 9 fires on their own.

On April 27, 2018 at 10.00 AM in Victory Park there will be the opening of a sports event dedicated to the 369 anniversary of the formation of the fire service of Russia. We invite Kazan residents and the capital guests to take part in the festive event. Before the beginning of the holiday at 08.00 AM old and modern fire-fighting equipment will pass as a solemn column. Directly in the park there will be organized a demonstration of fire and rescue equipment and rescue tool for guests and participants of the event.

As of 10.00 AM 26.04.2018 on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in 1 municipality 2 household plots in 1 settlement are flooded.  2 low bridges and 1 section of dirt road are flooded.

Including garbage extinguishing – 16, false alarms – 42, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: apartment buildings – 2, private houses – 2, garden houses – 1, outhouses – 1, fires on other objects – 1.
