Incidents as of April 28:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 64 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 33, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 13, others – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 11 fires: residential sector – 6, outhouses – 4, vehicles – 1.

Today in the '112 emergency call service' there was held the first lesson with volunteer students of Kazan (Volga) Federal University within the preparation for the World Cup 2018. Students already traditionally become assistants to the 112-service. Their task is to provide linguistic support to foreign callers. During the 2018 Football Championship, volunteer students will communicate with callers in English, German, French and Spanish, the official languages of FIFA.

According to the Department of Hydrometeorology and Environment Observation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the next 1-3 hours, with the preservation in the evening of April 28, at night and in the morning of April 29, 2018 in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan very heavy rain in the amount of not less than 50 mm for a period of time not more than 12 hours and strong wind with gusts up to 20-25 m/s are expected.

In Naberezhnye Chelny search and rescue squad – the branch of Volga regional search and rescue squad of EMERCOM of Russia in the village of Novy training assembly and certification tests of search and rescue cynology units of EMERCOM of subjects of the Russian Federation of Volga Federal District have been completed.

From April 30 to May 15, the special fire mode is introduced on the territory of the republic. During this period the amount of fine for violation of fire safety is doubled. The main feature of the mode this year is complete ban on the burning of dry grass and debris, including in the country plots. It is also forbidden to prepare food on open fire, regardless of the availability of barbecue and distances from residential buildings in settlements and suburban areas bordering the forest.

In Aznakaevo Municipal District there was a tournament on ice hockey among juniors of 2009-2010. This event was organized by the administration of the district and organized to 100 anniversary of the Soviet fire service, 369 anniversary of the formation of the fire service.

Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: private houses – 1, apartment buildings – 2, garden houses – 1, garages – 1. 1 person died, 5 people were saved.

The solemn event was attended by the Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant General of internal service Rafis Khabibullin, the leadership of the Headquarters, veterans of fire service and civil defense, relatives of the dead firefighters, personnel of the Headquarters and students of cadet classes.

Kazan firefighters celebrated their professional holiday with sports competitions. On the eve of the 369 anniversary of the formation of the fire service of Russia, as well as within the 100 anniversary of the Soviet fire service, according to the already established good tradition, firefighters of Kazan Fire and Rescue Garrison invited residents and guests of the city to Victory Park to festive sports competitions of EMERCOM employees.

Before the Day of Great Victory, fire service employees install autonomous fire alarms in houses and apartments of veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Thanks to these sensors 9 people were saved on fires, including children, in the republic.  This year, autonomous fire alarms were decided to be installed in veterans' homes.
