On August 30, 2020, a fire occurred near the Lokomotiv Peninsula on the Volga River in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan. A small vessel was burning (Vostok-2 boat).
The fire was reported on August 30, 2020 at 16 hours and 26 minutes from the firefighters of the fire and rescue ship (a separate post 2, 7 fire and rescue detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry). As a result of the fire, there are no dead. Two children were injured, they did not need hospitalization.

Departures to the incidents of duty units under the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Tatarstan and other emergency rescue units - 5 times. Of these: for other - 1 time, for unlocking - 2 times, for search work - 2 times. For preventive work - 6 times.

Work with the younger generation of the state emergency service inspectors pay special attention, so today the EMERCOM staff visited the children's "Kindergarten No. 345" in Kazan, where they held another training session on fire safety measures for children.
