Fire departments of SFS of Russia EMERCOM on RT had departures on alarms 44 times. Firefighters of the Republic eliminated 8 fires: in the residential sector-4 fires, vehicles-2 fires, in unused buildings (structures) – 1 fire, on other objects-1 fire. Unfortunately, 2 people were killed in the fires.

This was stated today by the head of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant General of the Internal Service Rafis Khabibullin during a scheduled meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

At 13.20 On April 8, when monitoring the flood situation, the operational group of the Nurlatsky fire and rescue garrison found that due to an increase in the water level caused by heavy snowmelt on the Bolshoy Cheremshan River, the roadbed of a low-water bridge near the locality of Urnyak in the Nurlatsky municipal district was flooded.

At 13.00 on April 8, when monitoring the flood situation, according to the report of the Head of the Nikolsky rural settlement, it was established that the culverts of the hydraulic structure on the Bezdna River in the village of Nikolskoye, which is on the balance of the Nikolsky SP Spassky municipal district, were washed away.

At 09.30 on April 8, when monitoring the flood situation, the task force of the Novosheshminsk district established that due to the increase in the water level on the Sheshma River caused by heavy snowmelt, the road of the low-water bridge was flooded near the settlement of the Arkhangelsk Sloboda of the Novosheshminsk municipal district.

In the evening of April 7, it was reported that a boy born in 2013 disappeared in the village of Stary Yurash in the Yelabuga district, according to preliminary information, he fell from the bank into the water of the Yurashka River. There were no adults who could come to the rescue. Rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad No. 5 of the Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, the task force of the Elabuga fire and rescue garrison, and 50 Liza Alert volunteers were searching along the coastline.

At 14.40 on April 7, when clarifying the information, it was established that 5 people were hospitalized with a diagnosis of "carbon monoxide poisoning in a state of moderate severity". Among them are 2 children:
- 2 people (male born in 1997, female born in 1965) to the city hospital No. 7 in Kazan;
- 3 people, including 2 children (a woman born in 1997, a boy born in 2020, a girl born in 2018) to the children's Republican clinical hospital in Kazan.
The EMERCOM units were not involved.
The cause of the incident is being determined.

In 1.5 km from the shore near the village of Singeli, rescuers rescued and brought 2 fishermen to shore. The victims refused to be hospitalized.
