From April 27 to 30, the forces and resources of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan were transferred to an enhanced mode of operation during the preparation and holding in Kazan of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council with the participation of the Prime Ministers of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. For the summit, 3 main and 12 auxiliary facilities will be involved, where the emergency department staff will be on duty.
The EAEU is an international organization of economic integration, which includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Moldova, Uzbekistan and Cuba have the status of observer States. The meeting will be attended by the prime ministers of 10 countries (Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan), Moldova (in the VKS mode).
About 500 participants, representatives of delegations, and leading groups are expected to participate in the events.
At all main and auxiliary facilities, employees of the Supervisory Activities Department conducted scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the state of fire safety. The identified violations were promptly eliminated.
On the basis of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, an operational headquarters has been deployed to organize and ensure sustainable management of the forces and means involved in ensuring security during the events of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
