On the 13th of January the winter championship for fire-applied sports has passed in Almetyevsk on account the Games of the Regional council “Dinamo”. For participation in the competitions of republican level the best specialists of fire-protection team have come to the “oil capital” of Tatarstan  from Kazan, Almetyevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk.

    The competitions have passed in the training centre of detachment of the Federal fire-protection service №2. It worth noticing that Almetyevsk is a venue of prestigious competitions of republican level for 8 years: in January of 2003 the city has become a place for the winter championships of fire-protection and rescue sports between sub-units of the State fire-protection service.

    Firemen compete for a title of the best in fire-applied sports – sports which lives of people depend on. As a matter of fact, they simpiy perfect themselves in the profession. For example, to get over barrier, take two fire-hoses, everyone not less than 5 kgs in weight. To run on boom, moving to unwind fire-hoses, to connect them in one and then connect them to branch, to finish on a 100-meter mark. And these are not all tasks: climbing on an assault ladder is one of the most complicated tests. The participants of the competitions have become 10 national teams from the republic, consisting of 5 adult sportsmen and 6 young men of different age groups.

     It is remarkable that in spite of the spirit of competition on the stage, there was special atmosthere of heat  and goodwill of participants to each other. Wishing to look at the performance were not much though sometimes it was very wonderful and entertaining. The participant of the team of DFFS-2 (Almetyevsk) Alexey Tarasov has established a new record of Tatarstan. He has climbed on an assault ladder in 13,23 sek. The result impresses: it is pleasant to realize that in fire-protection service there are the professionals capable to get over any obstacle easy and quickly! Not without reason the slogan of firemen is: “Speed and dexterity is our rescue”.

    Following the results of the competitions a cup for the first place the team of the first detachment (Nizhnekamsk) has received from hands of Rafael Motygullin - the deputy chief of the Central Department of the Russian Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency situations of RT (the State fire-protection service), the second -  CPT– 2 (Almetyevsk), the third - CPT – 5 (Kazan).

     Winners and prize-winners of the competitions in definite parts of the program and in team results have been awarded by diplomas and valuable presents.
