Take Care of Children! Invigilance Causes a Tragedy

On April 8 at 2:02 P.M. there was received a report from the Head of Yambulat village about the loss of a 5 year-old boy. As it turned out, the boy (born in 2011) walked together with his elder brothers in 100 meters from his house near the river Sulitsa. There was laying a log across the river, the children decided to go to the other side, the elder boys were able to pass, but their younger brother did not hold back on the log and fell into the river. One of the brothers ran for help, and the other tried to help the drowning. But the wet outerwear weighed down him to the bottom.

Firefighters of the separate post of Russkoe Makulovo of GKU “Fire Service of RT” were the first to arrive to the scene, then firefighter-rescuers of Fire and Rescue Department No. 112 from Verkhny Uslon came. Also, rescuer-cynologists and divers arrived to the scene.

There was organized a searching operation by the forces of emergency services and volunteers.

At 17:20, divers of ZPSO No. 2 took the boy’s body out of the water in 250 meters from the accident location.
