Interdepartmental Situation Room Starts Its Work In Connection with Unfavorable Weather Conditions in the Republic

This decision was accepted today at an unplanned meeting of Commission on Prevention and Liquidation of Emergencies and Fire Safety Provision of the Republic of Tatarstan, which was held under the chairmanship of Aleksandr Pesoshin. Also the meeting was attended by Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister for Civil Defense and Emergencies, Rafis Khabibullin, Main Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan, Renat Timerzyanov, and chairmen and members of commissions of okrugs and municipal districts, heads of local authorities and organizations.

At the moment, forces and means of territorial subsystem of RSChS of the Republic of Tatarstan comprising 811 vehicles and 941 people (including 51 heavy vehicles for evacuation) are ready to respond to emergencies.
