1. Before heating season clean up the furnace and the chimney, repair and whitewash with lime or clay mixture.
2. The furnace and the chimney at the places of joining with wooden attic or interstorey ceilings should have thickening of brickwork – splicing.
3. Any furnace should have own fundament and not join with the whole angle of one of its walls to wooden constructions. It is necessary to nail on the wooden floor a metal (prefurnace) sheet with the sizes of not less than 50 to 70 cm .
4. It extremely dangerous to leave stocking furnaces with no attendance or for little children’s care.
5. Do not use inflammable liquids for furnace stocking.
6. In order not to allow overheat the furnace, it is recommended to stock it two or three times a day and not more than an hour and a half each time.
7. Furnace stocking should be stopped three hours before going to bed.
8. In order to avoid appearing of cracks in the brickwork it is necessary to clean up the chimney from gathering soot inside of it.
9. Do not dry clothes and damp firewood on the furnace.
10. Watch that the furniture and curtains be not less than half of a meter from stocking furnace body.
11. Do not stock the furnace with firewood which does not fit into the fire-chamber.
12. With coming minus temperatures it is dangerous the chimney can cover with ice which can cause violation of residential room’s ventilation.
