Three People Were Injured of Careless Handling Pyrotechnics in Tatarstan. EMERCOM Recommendations

Office of Supervisory Affairs and Preventive Work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan reports that from the activation of special anti-fire mode in the Republic of Tatarstan 3 people were injured because of violation of rules of pyrotechnic articles use. 15 officials and 4 citizens were fined to the total sum of 120 thousand rubles for violation of fire safety requesits.

When using pyrotechnic articles:

  • people younger than 18 cannot use pyrotechnic articles without adults attendance;
  • do not smoke near a pyrotechnic article;
  • do not do mechanical actions towards a pyrotechnic article;
  • do not throw, hit a pyrotechnic article;
  • do not throw pyrotechnic articles on fire;
  • do not use pyrotechnic articles indoors (exceptions: Bengal lights, cake candles, crackers);
  • do not hold an activated pyrotechnic article in your hands (exceptions: Bengal lights, cake candles, crackers);
  • do not use pyrotechnic articles near buildings, constructions, trees, power lines and on the distance less than the dangerous zone radius;
  • do not stand near an operating pyrotechnic article on the distance less than the safe one;
  • do not bend over a pyrotechnic article when igniting the fuse, as well as when pyrotechnics operates;
  • do not ignite the fuse repeatedly in case of attenuation;
  • do not approach to and bend over a used pyrotechnic article during 5 minutes after it finished to operate.
