Today, leaders of interested departments gathered at Commission on Emergencies and Fire Safety in the Cabinet of Ministers to discuss preparedness of schools to new school year.
Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan – Main State Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan on Fire Supervision, Sergey Sergeev, told about the situation of fire safety in secondary schools. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Larisa Sulima, came out with a general report on preparedness of schools and kindergartens. Deputy Chief of Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lubov Avdonina, reported on sanitary-epidemiological well-being of secondary schools of the republic and sanitary-epidemiological requirements that are made during the acceptance to the new 2015-2016 school year.
As of August 17, 2015, 1 720 schools are presented to the acceptance by the staff of State Fire Supervision (SFS), that makes 94% from the total number of schools. Acts on preparedness to the beginning of new school year are signed by 1 513 schools, that makes 88% from the schools which were presented to the acceptance. Thus, SFS staff did not signed acts on preparedness by 207 schools, and 110 school were not presented to the acceptance.
