Operative work of firemen and rescuers admited to prevent the large emergency situation

On September, 24th, 2009 6.48 pm Moscow time, in Naberezhnye Chelny, on the base of the building industry of Promkomzona, in a premise for oven fuel swapping, in tank for storage of Open Company "DisBen" there was an explosion and burning of one-storied building as a result of infringement of technological process at fuel swapping from a gasoline tank truck of KamAZ to the land tank. the Premise was destroyed completely. The fire area was 30 sq.m. Fortunately, there wasn’t the threat of the further collapse. Fire liquidation was finished at 7.45 pm (Moscow time). It was possible not to admit fire spreading on the nearest structures. Fire consequences could be more scale and tragic.

The area of a zone of a collapse was 144 м2. Work in assorting of blockages was organized by three shifts. There were 20 people in each, operation time of every shift was 40 minutes. In total from the beginning of carrying out of salvage operations350 м3 building fragments of the destroyed building were taken out.

At 02.30 am 25.09.2009 at dismantling of the fallen designs it was found out the corpse of Tarmanov Dmitry, 1987, the handyman in Open Company "DisBen".

Rescuers of MES RT, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, etc. services took part in liquidation of accident consequences  (67 people, 22 units of techniques).

The incident reason – the infringement of technological process at swapping of oven fuel from a gasoline tank truck «KAMAZ» to the land tank.
