As of 12:50 25 Fishermen Were Saved from Detached Ice Floe

The rescue operation in Laishevsky District is going on. As of 12:50 25 fishermen were conveyed to the shore with the help of Khivus-6. A report about an ice floe taken off with fishermen on the Kama in Laishevsky MD, in the area of Atabayevo settlement was received. According to the preliminary data, there may be from 50 to 80 people on the ice floe. The first sent to the scene were Khivus-6 (hovercraft) that is based in Tashkirmen settlement and Khivus-10 from Kazan. MI-8 MTV of EMERCOM of Russia is alerted.

Forces and means attracted to rescue fishermen, including from EMERCOM: staff – 47 people (41 from EMERCOM), 7 vehicles (5 ones from EMERCOM). Information to be confirmed.
