Characteristic Incidents for Last Day

Incidents for September 13:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 64 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, 5 of them in residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: carelessness when smoking – 2, violation of technological process – 1, violation electrical equipment use rules – 4, faulty electrical wiring – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1, arson – 1, violation electrical equipment installation rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 17 times. 3 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 11 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, traffic accident – 1, searching for lost in forest (woman was found) – 1, removing cat from boiler tube – 1, safety provision during artillery shells removing – 1.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
