People Working With Dogs Are Primarily RESCUERS

9 teams participated in the open regional certificate competition of SAR crews of Cynology Service of MES of Russia of Volga Federal District, and 8 of them represented cynologic crews of various services of the Republic of Tatarstan. Therefore, most of the prizes were won by representatives of Tatarstan along with their pets. According to the results of the competition there will be composed a team of Volga Regional Center of MES of Russia to participate in the championship of search and rescue crews of Cynology Service of MES of Russia. Results of the competition held from June 23 to 28 on the basis of FGKU "1001 SC MES of Russia" in Vodino village of Krasnoyarsk District of Samara Oblast were summed up by Head of Kazan search and rescue detachment Igor Katsyuruba.

First place was won by Vyacheslav Yakimov cynologic crew, and the second place – by his team partner Nina Sidorova along with her dog. Three The third place was after Yekaterina Maklakova that was representing PRPSO Kazan Branch. Total 47 cynologic crews took part in the competition, 17 of them represented PRPSO units.

Team competition demonstrated the coherence when there was running the technical part of the command lap. Efficient exercises with climbing gear and hydraulic rescue tool says that people working with dogs in the first place are the RESCUERS, and the dog is one of the tools that they use.

- I think we will have a very decent team of Volga Regional Center of MES of Russia take part in competitions of cynologic crews of MES of Russia, - said Igor Katsyuruba. – We are also looking forward to good results from our volunteers.
