Characteristic incidents for the last day

Incidents for June, 4:

Fire departments of Federal fire service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 194 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 33, dry grass extinguishing – 17, poplar fluff extinguishing – 3. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector. 4 persons were rescued.

The causes of fires are: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, ascertain – 4.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 22 times. 5 persons were rescued. 

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2 times.

Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 8 times. Including: traffic accident – 1, others – 7.

Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT warns:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
