Before Children’s Day: “Safe Summer” social action in city park

Today, in the park in the name of Uritskiy employees of the Headquarters of MES of RF on RT held “Safe Summer” social action caused by Children’s Day. Not only pupils of nearby №99 school learned skills of safe behavior on water, but the holidaymakers of the park, too.

The park has a lake. In its basis and in the basis of the cooperation of rescuers of search and rescue department of Civil protection management of Kazan there was taught nearly 50 participants of the action. Before carrying out rescue operations on water, the children had a talk. After the theoretical part of the lesson they proceeded to the practice. They divided into two groups: boys team and girls team. The boys trained throwing a lifebuoy, girls tried to rescue a victim by a special rope so-called “Alexandrov’s end”. The next step was rescuing a victim from water.

Besides the ways of rescue of a drowner by different means of rescue, the children and the holidaymakers could learn to provide first aid to a victim when took out of water.
