Characteristic incidents for the last day

Incidents for May, 28:

Fire departments of FFS of MD of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 96 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 16, dry grass extinguishing – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector. 2 persons were rescued.

The causes of fires are: violation of fire safety rules during electric device use – 1, careless handling of fire – 1, violation of rules of installation – 3, violation of electrical equipment installation and use rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 19 times. 11 persons were saved. 

Missions of VFD units on fire fighting – 3 times.

Missions of SAR units of MES of RT – 16 times.

Main Department of MES of Russia on RT warns:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
