The level of protection in emergency situation depends on how the population is trained

With these words, the Deputy Head of Main Department of MES of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrei Orlov addressed to more than a hundred chiefs of educational, preschool institutions of the Sovetskiy district, to the specialists of educational department of the executive committee of Kazan and to teachers of basics of life safety discipline during instructional methodic activity that took place today on the basis of Kazan school №111. As a part of this event a method of preparation for the Children's Day brought to the audience. This event is traditionally held in all educational institutions of the republic on the eve of the summer school holidays.

         In his speech, Andrei Orlov also noted that the importance of this event is high since the safety of life of the population grows up higher level. The Government of Tatarstan pays great attention to the safety of the population. An important work is carried out to develop a comprehensive public alert system, because the basis of the people’s protection is a timely warning to the population about a threat or an occurrence of ES, as well as the teaching the right actions in case of emergency. As you know, the basics of safe behavior are necessary to lay in a child in schools and kindergartens. Also human cultural behavior depends on the behavior in extreme situations laid in childhood. In conclusion of his speech, the Deputy Chief wished all participants a fruitful work, less formalism and more practical and live communication with children.

         Deputy Chief of Russia's State Inspectorate for Small Vessels of MES across RT Regina Gayazova told participants about water safety, the rules of behavior and measures of teaching children safety skills in the waters. As the reporter noted in his speech, in the country every year about 200 people die in the waters. The causes of tragedies on the water are swimming in unorganized areas, swimming while intoxicated, and among the children most of them become victims those who cannot swim or left without adult supervision. Since in the summer many children go on holidays to the countryside camps near water, Regina Gayazova also reminded the audience about the choice of a safe place for the bathing children and, of course, talked about how to provide first aid to a drowning.

         It must be said that such events are held annually and the audience of students who are involved in the upbringing of children is constantly expanding.

- Today we held an event on working practices and skills in case of fire. The event is held annually , it is necessary to ensure that children are able to behave in an emergency situation, and teachers know how to act in case of an ES to protect pupils’ lives - said in an interview with the director of the school №111 Anastasia Zvezdina. - Skills of technical staff are also practiced, janitor must know how to sound the alarm, which doors to open. In case of ES anyone can get confused even an adult, especially when there are nearly 700 children at school, so it is necessary to train skills of behavior.

         After the theoretical part of the seminar, participants in the school yard got a practical demonstration of fire and rescue equipment opportunities in case of fire in the school. There was made a scenario of fire in the dining room according to which pupils and teachers began to evacuate, fire trucks and rescuers rushed to the school. After all, pupils were taught the primary means of action in case of fire extinguishing.

        The result of instructional methodic training with the chiefs of educational institutions will become Children's Day, which will be traditionally held in May last school day in all schools in the country.
