The veterans of Chernobyl Kazan garrison of fire protection took part in the event dedicated to the Day of participants of liquidation of consequences of radiation accidents and catastrophes.

on 26 April 2014 was held the event on the 28th anniversary of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which was held near the monument to participants of liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, located at the crossroads of Hussain Yamasheva and Fatiha Amirkhan.
The official part of this event was opened by the Deputy Minister of labour and social protection, after which he addressed the representatives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Board of Chernobyl Kazan. After that, a solemn laying of wreaths and flowers to the monument.
From FGKU "the 7th group of the Federal border service of the Republic of Tatarstan" the event was attended by members of the detachment, directly participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident:
major of internal service Dmitry Morozov, assistant of the chief of group on logistics, Vladimir Averin, fire FC-119 squad.
Also the event was attended by young employees and veterans of the detachment:
major of internal service Damir Safiullin, Deputy head FC-4 of the squadron, senior Lieutenant of internal service Denis Alexandrov, senior engineer of a Department of service and organization of fire extinguishing unit, Alexei Zaitsev, inspector of Department on personnel and educational work of the detachment, Nikolai Michailovich Parfenov, Chairman of Council of veterans of the detachment.
The creation of a virtual exhibition is part of the social project "Fire and Rescue Sports". It is implemented by the Tatarstan Republican branch of the All-Russian public Organization "All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society" and is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among children through the organization of training and competitions, as well as the popularization of fire and rescue sports.
During the reporting period, 52439 calls were received and processed, 41666 incident cards were created. To date, about 59% of calls have been received by the republic's emergency services.
Regina Gayazova, Head of the Department of Human Safety at Water Facilities of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the situation at water bodies during the melting of ice, during a briefing for media representatives held today at the "Tatar-Inform" NA.
