The solemn oath: The cadets of the Nizhnekamsk "forge of personnel" for the fire department passed the oath-taking ritual
A branch of Izhevsk College of Finance and Law has been operating in Nizhnekamsk for four academic years. Of the 241 cadets, 47 are studying in the specialty "Fire Safety" and are planning their professional careers in the ranks of the Russian EMERCOM. However, representatives of other areas are also interested in the fire service.
By tradition, first-year students go through the oath-taking ritual. In addition to potential firefighters, these are dog handlers, future specialists in justice and law. There are 64 recruits in total.
"I swear to be responsible for my studies and my chosen profession, to work for the good of the Fatherland, to lead a healthy lifestyle." - these promises are uttered in their oath by cadets dressed in uniforms with departmental insignia.
During the four-year course of study, students master combat training, gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in firefighting, learn how to assist victims in emergency situations, and drive vehicles. After graduating from college, cadets become real experts in the field of fire safety - valuable and highly sought-after personnel for fire protection units.
