MTS and the EMERCOM have launched a flood monitoring and forecasting system in Tatarstan
A pilot project to monitor flood threats has been implemented in areas with a high risk of flooding in the region. The system deployed in the Kaibitsky district, consisting of equipment for monitoring the state of the environment and an analytical platform, allows you to quickly monitor changes in water levels and other parameters, predict flood risks to alert emergency services and minimize damage.
The pilot's digital solution consists of a complex of measuring equipment and high-tech sensors that transmit data over the MTS network to a special analytical platform. When an unfavorable situation is reached or a critical water level is exceeded, the system issues a warning, which the dispatcher can send through the system to operational services through various communication channels.
