How Tatarstan prepares for snowfall to protect every home

Snowdrifts and ice can become a serious obstacle to help if trouble happens somewhere. To ensure that every minute counts in an emergency, we are already joining forces with the heads of settlements, management companies and volunteers.

Our common goal is to ensure that fire trucks can quickly reach any address, even in the heaviest snowfall. To do this, we are clearing roads together — not only the central streets, but also those most important "last meters" in courtyards, at the entrances to hospitals, schools and kindergartens.

Special attention is paid to social facilities — places with round-the-clock and massive presence of people. Reliable entrances to them, as well as free access to fire hydrants, are a guarantee that help will arrive on time to those who need it most.

But security is always a team effort. If a snowdrift has grown in your yard, clear the snow at your house. Do not park cars in such a way that they interfere with the passage. And please be careful at home: it is in winter that fires become more frequent due to overloaded power grids and improper use of stoves.
