Russian firefighters are world champions!

The capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, hosted the XX Men's World Championship and the XI Women's World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sports from October 26 to November 1, 2025. 170 strongest athletes from 14 countries gathered at the main stadium of the city to determine the best in this sport.

The Russian Federation was represented by 30 athletes, including Honored Masters of sports, international masters of sports and Masters of Sports of Russia.

During the championship, medals were awarded in four key disciplines, where Russian athletes showed excellent results:
- Climbing the assault stairs:
• Men (on the 4th floor of the training tower): Dmitry Grebenshchikov – gold, Stanislav Titorenko – silver
• Women (on the 2nd floor of the training tower): Karina Bochkareva – gold, Ekaterina Chendakova – silver
- Overcoming a 100-meter obstacle course:
• Men: Vadim Shevchuk – gold (in 14.84 seconds), Andrey Zarodov – silver (in 14.89 seconds)
• Women: Anna Yudina – gold (15.49 sec), Oksana Kolomytova – silver (15.54 sec)
- Fire Relay:
• Both Russian national teams won gold medals, demonstrating perfect coordination and speed.
- Combat deployment:
• The men's national team showed a brilliant result, winning a landslide victory.

This victory was decisive in winning the title of 2025 world champions in the team competition. The races gave the audience an incredible sight – intense wrestling, athletic drive and the fervent support of the stands created a truly unique atmosphere.

To the sounds of the anthem of the Russian Federation, our athletes rose to the highest step of the podium, winning the title of 2025 world champions in the team competition.
