21 May 2025, Wednesday

Do you know what happens after you call 112 for help? When you dial this number, a call reception and processing specialist quickly accepts your call and transmits information about the incident to the appropriate emergency services: fire protection, police, ambulance, gas service for rapid response.

It is important to note that 112 specialists work around the clock, including weekends and holidays, to ensure that they are always ready to receive calls at any time. Their efficiency and professionalism make it possible to respond to any incidents in a timely manner.

Thanks to the decision of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, R. N. Minnikhanov, from January 1, 2025, the staff of specialists in receiving and processing emergency calls has been increased and their salary level has been increased. Every month, new employees are recruited and trained at Service 112, which allows us to constantly expand and strengthen the team of professionals. This approach makes it possible to respond in a timely manner to the growing volume of requests and ensure prompt assistance to the population. Over the past five months, the staff of the operator has been increased by 50 people. From May 12, 2025 The training of a new group of specialists has begun.

The work of a Service 112 specialist requires high professional training, emotional stability and responsiveness. Before taking up their duties, future operators undergo mandatory two-week training, which includes theoretical and practical exercises.

An equally important part of training is the psychological aspects of professional activity. In conditions of high responsibility and constant stress, specialists learn to remain calm, respond correctly to emotional appeals from citizens and manage their own emotions.

In general, it can be said that systematic training, continuous improvement of professional skills and psychological support create a solid foundation for the reliable operation of the 112 service. This allows for timely response to any emergency situations, ensuring the safety of the region's population and strengthening public confidence in the emergency response system. As a result, the service's activities become more efficient, and the lives of citizens become more secure.
