On the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory: home front worker Ivan Vasilyevich Garanin

Ivan Vasilyevich Garanin was born on November 22, 1930 in the village of Russian Nikolskoye in the Laishevsky district of the Tatar ASSR. Education – 5 classes. Awarded with medals :
"Veteran of Labor",
"For valiant labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
" jubilee medals:
"In memory of the 1000th anniversary of Kazan", 
USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs "For impeccable service" of three degrees, 
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations "For the Commonwealth in the name of salvation."

There were six children in the Garanin family. They found out about the beginning of the war, like everyone else, on the radio. And then my father got a summons. And already on June 28, he, along with other men of the village, went to the front. 
From 1941 to 1945, he worked at the collective farm "Searchlight". Ivan helped the adults as much as he could, there was a lot of work. 

Fifteen-year-old Ivan Garanin, like millions of other workers in industry and agriculture, was awarded the commemorative medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

In 1950, he received a summons to the army. In 1958, Ivan Garanin joined the fire department as a driver at fire station No. 7 in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan. Out of a total of 39 years of work experience, he served in the fire department for 22 years. Ivan Vasilyevich Garanin, senior sergeant of the internal service, retired in 1970 as commander of the fire department No. 7 for the protection of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan.

In retirement, he devoted himself entirely to housekeeping. The staff of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Tatarstan congratulates Ivan Vasilyevich Garanin on the upcoming Great Victory Day and wishes him good health!
