A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Cup in Fire and Rescue sports took place in Kazan today.
Over the course of three days, more than 400 of the strongest athletes demonstrated their skills, character and will to win in an intense struggle.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests:
Chairman of the Council of Heads of Territorial Bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Volga Federal District, Lieutenant General of the Internal Service Valery Sinkov,
Head of the Center for Physical Training and Sports of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Sergey Egorov,
chief judge of the competition, judge of the All-Russian category Oleg Derevitsky,
Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Kadamov.
The strongest teams from 18 regions of the Russian Federation competed for the main trophy in the overall standings based on the results in three sports disciplines – overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course, climbing the assault ladder and the two-man event.
However, all these three days the athletes competed not only for personal prizes, but all the results were added to the team's total piggy bank.
Finally, the winner and prize-winners of the 2025 EMERCOM of Russia Cup in fire and rescue sports in the team competition were invited to be awarded.
