Yuri Venediktov, Deputy Head of the territorial body of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief State Inspector for Small Vessels of the Republic of Tatarstan, comments on the situation in the water bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan.

    Tatarstan firefighters and rescuers received 20 new pieces of equipment purchased at the expense of the federal and republican budgets. Fire tankers, emergency rescue vehicles, off-road passenger cars, small craft and snowmobiles joined the service.

In Tatarstan, from January 20 to January 26, units of the State Fire Service eliminated 46 fires. Unfortunately, 4 people died in the fires, and 1 person was injured. Fire departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Tatarstan rescued 4 people.
