With these words, Andrey Orlov, Acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, began his solemn congratulations on the 80th anniversary of civil defense veteran Vladimir Mikhailovich Afanasyev.
The honored veteran of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Tatarstan was invited to a staff meeting to present the hero of the day among former colleagues and a new generation of employees and express gratitude for his many years of fruitful work and huge contribution to the development of the system of training the population of the republic in the field of civil defense and protection from emergency situations.
Vladimir Mikhailovich spent 26 years working in the Emergency Department of Tatarstan. He was directly involved in the development of draft regulatory and guidance documents on the training of the population of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of civil defense and protection from natural and man-made emergencies.
Over the past 18 years, he has been an active organizer of the annual republican and regional competitions for students of the School of Safety educational organizations, in which teams of schoolchildren aged 13-16 constantly participate.
For many years, Vladimir Mikhailovich has been teaching at the Kazan National Research Technical University of KAI in the field of Technosphere Safety.
