«Autobabai», don't lose your vigilance!
Nizhnekamsk firefighters took part in a competition of driving skills
Experienced drivers over the age of 60 participate in competitions in high-speed maneuvering and knowledge of the rules of the road "Avtobabai". This year, 14 people demonstrated their skills, three of whom were firefighters from the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The fire service was represented at the competition by Yuri Malafeev (29 SRU), Gabdurashit Akhmetzyanov (44 SRU) and Mikail Ekazhev (57 SRU). The firefighters were competed by veterans of specialized organizations - driving school instructors, drivers of passenger motor transport enterprises, ambulances, and the Russian Post. Those for whom "being behind the wheel" is a profession.
At the "figure driving" stage, participants performed various maneuvers at speed, avoiding collisions with chips. At the "Traffic Expert" stage, it was necessary not only to answer the questions of the computer test correctly, but also as quickly as possible.
Alas, the firefighters did not take prizes, but they showed decent results. For which they were "patted on the shoulder" and received certificates of honorary participants of the project from representatives of the traffic police department in Nizhnekamsk district.
