Dear veterans, managers and specialists of the civil defense of the Republic of Tatarstan!
October 4 is the Day of Civil Defense of the Russian Federation. On this day in 1932, the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR approved the "Regulations on the air defense of the territory of the USSR." According to him, the local air defense was allocated as an independent component of the entire air defense system of the USSR. This date is considered to be the beginning of the existence of the all-Union local air defense, which was succeeded by the civil defense of the USSR, and then the Russian Federation.
Today, the civil defense of the Republic of Tatarstan is not only a system that includes material, technical and human potential to solve a wide range of tasks in preventing and eliminating the consequences of natural and man-made disasters. The civil defense forces of the republic are actively mastering modern equipment and advanced technologies, improving the training of personnel.
On this significant day, I express my great gratitude to the veterans of civil defense who devoted their lives to ensuring the safety of the population and territories from emergencies of peacetime and wartime. Your rich experience, wisdom, noble deeds and deeds are always an inspiring force for us.
