Tatarstan firefighters celebrated the «Неопалимая Купина» Icon Day
Firefighters of the Zelenodolsk fire and rescue garrison participated in a prayer service in their own chapel. The garrison chapel in Zelenodolsk was built and opened in 2011. This religious building was built literally by the whole world. According to the firefighters themselves, the presence of a temple on the territory of the fire station symbolizes the centuries-old care of the church for the defenders of the people, give spiritual support to firefighters.
On September 17, on the feast day of the icon, a prayer was held in the chapel of the garrison. The service was headed by the rector of St. Andrew's Church, Father Nicholas. According to the priest, firefighters always work clearly and quickly, they go to the most dangerous fires, hoping for themselves and praying to the Lord, knowing that he will give them strength and courage.
Employees of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Father Anthony held a festive service for firefighters.
