The Volga Region Cup is held by rescuers of the EMERCOM from Naberezhnye Chelny
The Interregional competitions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the all-around rescuers "Volga Region Cup" have ended in Mordovia. The team of the Naberezhnye Chelny search and Rescue squad, a branch of the Volga regional search and Rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, became the absolute champion in the team competition.
During 4 days, 11 rescue teams from 8 regions of the Volga Federal District demonstrated their professional skills. The competition included the stages of emergency response in the natural and man-made environment, search and rescue operations in the water area, emergency rescue operations in the aftermath of an accident. In addition, the participants ran cross–country - 6 people alternately for 3 km, and also competed in a set of strength exercises.
As a result, the captain of the Chelny rescue team, 1st class Rishat Kharisov, received from the organizers a large and colorful Volga Region Cup, which has already taken its rightful place in the squad.
