August 2 is the day of the formation of the SPT
For more than half a century, Fire Extinguishing Services have been on duty The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia! On August 2, 1972, by order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, fire extinguishing headquarters were established in the fire protection departments of the Department of Internal Affairs. These formations were formed in order to improve the organization of the service and rapid response to fires, increase the combat readiness of units and organize their interaction. Today, these tasks are being solved by the SPT.
Only the most experienced firefighters who have proven themselves in the service of fire departments get into the SPT. Officers of the fire extinguishing service go to the most difficult fires, the lives and material property of citizens depend on their actions at the fire site. Also, SPT employees regularly conduct inspections and exercises in fire and rescue units.
